Last Minute Easter Craft

Spending a couple of months on an island in the south of Norway has its perks - great view, amazing hikes, cheap salmon. However it can be difficult to acquire certain things. So when it came to creating an Easter basket for Harper, that contained items other than candy, I had to get creative. Using what I had in the room, I made a bunny in a log. I made the log out of a toilet paper roll and hand sewed a bunny out of an Ikea tea towell and stuffed it with cotton balls. It turned out surprisingly well and was a hit with the girl.  The basket also required some creativity - planter with a face designed by Harper and “grass” made from torn paper from an Ikea catalog (other benefit of Norway is the availability of Ikea products).
